Document Cameras, Webcams, and USB Speakerphones

Document Scanners with Zoom:

  1. The first step to set up your Document Camera is plugging in the included USB Type A(rectangular) → USB Type C(rounder)

  2. After plugging the cable into the document camera, plug the other end into your Laptop or PC

  3. Open Zoom and join or create a meeting

  4. Find the bubble in the bottom left corner of your Zoom screen that says “Start Video” or “Stop Video”

  5. Select the “^” in the top right of the bubble

  6. Choose the option that shows your model of document camera 

  7. Select the “^” in the top right of the bubble once again

  8. Choose “Video Settings...” then click “Enable HD” for the best video quality and readability

    9. After that, you are all set to use the document camera with Zoom!


USB Speakerphone with Zoom:

  1. Join or start your Zoom meeting. This is where you will be given the option to select your audio input/output. In order to use the USB Speakerphone, it first needs to be plugged in via the included USB Connector.

  2. Once connected, find the bubble in the bottom left corner of your Zoom screen that says “Mute” or “Unmute”

  3. Select the “^” in the top right corner of the bubble

  4. You will see two sections: “Select a Microphone” and “Select a Speaker”

    1. Choose the option that shows your model of USB Speakerphone underneath both options

  5. Upon completion of steps 1-4a, your USB Speakerphone is ready for use!


How to set up and use a Webcam with Zoom:

  1. Plug your webcam into your laptop or PC

  2. Once connected, find the bubble in the bottom left corner of your Zoom screen that says Mute” or “Unmute”

  3. Select the “^” in the top right corner of the bubble

  4. You will see two sections: “Select a Microphone” and “Select a Speaker”

    1. If your webcam has a microphone, select the current model of the webcam for the microphone.

  5. Find the bubble in the bottom left corner of your Zoom screen that says “Start Video” or “Stop Video”

  6. Select the “^” in the top right of the bubble

  7. Choose the option that shows your brand of microphone

  8. After this, you are ready to use your webcam!
